Stan Allison Chief Executive Officer Stan has 12 years of experience in solar energy. He focuses on strategic, commercial, financial and administrative activities of the company. Stan is effective at originating, structuring, negotiating and executing innovative solar energy development applications. Previously, he worked 35+ years as an investment banker with international institutions, focused on arranging capital in negotiated transactions. Stan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from Lafayette College and his Master of Business Administration from University of Virginia. Read Bio | Greg Peterson Chief Operating Officer Greg Peterson has more than 30 years of experience in the energy sector including engineering and management positions for one of the largest utilities in the US. He also led the Global Energy & Environmental Divisions with operational budgets of over $800M for a Fortune 50 company. Additionally, Greg founded and served as CEO of a full service utility scale solar company. Greg is effective at leading teams in the development, design, construction, and operations for a variety of energy projects including over 45 utility scale solar farms across the US. Greg attended Georgia Tech and Clemson University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer in multiple states. Read Bio | Jason Martin Vice President - Business Origination Jason Martin is an accomplished electric utility professional, whose experience includes more than 35 years at Duke Energy. He has fulfilled roles having customer-facing and technical responsibilities relevant to his position at Holocene. These included developing and providing value-enhancing energy solutions to businesses. In addition, Jason has managed adoption for utility scale renewable energy generation, including process alignment, tariff applications, and regulatory proceedings. He has served on community and professional oriented boards, the most recent of which were the South Carolina Clean Energy Business Alliance and the South Carolina Solar Council. He graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer. In his spare time Jason enjoys being with his wife and 4 children, and pursuing the family’s multiple interests. Read Bio |
Jim Armfield Solar Design Engineer Jim Armfield has 6+ years experience as a civil engineer. He worked in land development consulting before starting at Holocene in 2020. As a consultant he was on the design team for various commercial, industrial, residential, and solar projects located across the US. Jim’s work with Holocene includes designing solar facilities, managing financial models, and working with consultants to develop new projects. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from NC State University and is a Professional Engineer registered in North Carolina. Read Bio | Allison Chambers Controller Allison Chambers is an accounting professional with experience leading financial and accounting functions in the real estate, not for profit, and senior career industries. She also worked as a senior auditor with a large firm in Raleigh. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a licensed Realtor in North Carolina. Allison earned a Bachelor and Master of Science in Accounting from East Carolina University. Read Bio | Jared Clark Project Engineer Intern Before starting at Holocene, Jared Clark gained valuable experience working in commercial construction management as a project engineer. He also aided in the development of a startup in Raleigh, where their goal was to make renewable energy accessible to all. Jared’s work with Holocene includes site design, energy modelling, and renewable energy assessment. He is currently a student at NC State University studying electrical engineering and pursuing a concentration in renewable electric energy systems. Read Bio |
Charlie Davis Business Development Charlie Davis provides business development support for Holocene, focused on the Southeast. Charlie has over 50 years’ experience in the power and industrial arena and has held officer level positions in project management, department leadership and client/new business development. In the past 15 years he has been involved with renewable energy activities with major engineering firms CH2MHill and Sargent and Lundy. Charlie has been instrumental in developing Holocene’s strategy in South Carolina, targeting municipal power and electric cooperative clients for behind the wholesale meter solar opportunities and utilities operating in the state for large scale solar projects based on power purchase agreements. Charlie is a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and is a Registered Professional Engineer in 5 states. He is a retired Colonel in the USAR having served 35 years of active and reserve duty. Read Bio | ||

Jeff Colborn Advisor With 30+ years’ experience in the utility industry, Jeff Colborn’s main focus includes operations, asset management and information systems; business planning and strategy; and engineering and maintenance programs. His experience also includes implementing asset management strategies resulting from mergers and acquisition; Fleet Operating Model implementations; business re-engineering and transformation; and technology refresh. Other skills include business planning and strategy development for operating new asset build projects, project management, and capital program oversight. Jeff also knows how to develop and manage implementation of information technology for enterprise systems and process-based systems. He was also former VP of Project Management for Shelco, Inc., where he oversaw construction team management for commercial and industrial projects.
